The radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is now widely used in variousfields, the technology has no barrier to read, high storage capacity, re-use, environmentalresistance, convenience, safet, reliability and so many other advantages. With theseadvantages, RFID technology gained favor in various fields including the identification, transportation, logistics tracking, retail and manufacturing gradually. The object of this paper is the digital base band of RFID tags based on the ISO/IEC15693protocol. This design of digital baseband focuses on low-cost and low powerconsumption after in-depth study and analysis of the ISO/IEC15693protocol.The work ofthis paper includes the analysis of the command processing strategy, the request of thelegality of the judgment logic optimization, optimization of the coding/modulation module, designing CRC check module with the parallel algorithm and rational planning of clockdomains. These measures greatly optimized the area and power consumption of the digitalbaseband. After the complete of digital baseband RTL-level coding the design was simulated, and through building FPGA-based verification platform the functions of the digitalbaseband was verified. The results of simulation show that the design has reached thedesign requirements. Finally, the optimized digital baseband was synthesised. The resultsof synthesis show that the optimization of the design have Played a certain effect.
