Electromagnetic compatibility character is a very importantperformance indicator in the performances of the standard devices ofliquid level detection. To evaluate the electromagnetic compatibilitycharacteristics of the standard equipment of the liquid level detection,we should test electromagnetic compatibility characteristics first, anduse scientific and practical evaluation method to assess the test result.The topic is carried out in collaboration by the national capacitymetering station and LiaoNing ShiHua University. In order to study themethod to evaluate the EMC of liquid level detection standard device,some works has been as follows.Firstly, a brief introduction of the liquid measuring instruments,EMC evaluation methods, international research status and futuredeveloping direction was introduced. The liquid level detection standarddevice is based on the principle of level measurement of the laserinterferometer, with the high precision and high standards to calibrateand verify liquid level measuring instruments.Secondly, the index system for electromagnetic compatibilitycharacteristics of level detection standard device was established.Various factors in the index system were analyzed. The systemcombined the liquid level detection device’s characteristics, withdomestic and international standards, and also with expert’s advice.Thirdly, The test program and the design of a GTEM cell were proposed in this part. The location of Electromagnetic CompatibilityLaboratory address was decided. The design program ofElectromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory was designed after theanalysis of the relevant testing standards.Fourthly, The mathematical model of the comprehensiveevaluation of the level detector EMC characteristics of the standarddevice was established in this part. Fuzzy evaluation of comprehensiveevaluation was decided to be used after analyzing of the pros and consof a variety of evaluation methods. Also Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was used to identify factors’ weight. An example to prove thefeasibility of this method was proposed also.Finally, the research work made on the subject was summarized,and the outlook for future research was given too.
