In recent years, with the population aging phenomenon has obvious, the number ofphysically disabled persons is also increasing. In order to return to normal state, thenumber of people in need of rehabilitation training are rapidly increase. The developmentof robot technology and with the combination of clinical rehabilitation medicinepromote the rehabilitation robot appear. The use of robotics technology to monitor therehabilitation process, and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation, to make thetraining more targeted and scientific. With the help of rehabilitation robot, the doctor canfree from the strenuous physical labor, better focus on the patient’s rehabilitation programin order to improve the efficiency of rehabilitation. Make a virtual reality game for therehabilitation robot, the content and design of the game according to the characteristics ofgamers and the purpose of rehabilitation. With the help of rehabilitation robot, gamers canfinish the action required or complete the task in the virtual scene.This article start from describing the basic knowledge related to the project-OpenGLBasics and kinematics solution, describes the design and implementation of assistedrehabilitation game project based on OpenGL. First introduce the game requirements anddesign, then introduce the framework of the game system, and each module’s function andthe link between each other. In the fourth chapter describes in detail the implementation ofseveral important functional modules: Method of hand’s kinematics solution calculation;Coordinate system conversion module; OpenGL scene building process; The comparisonand analysis of two methods of3ds file import; The Coordinate calculation in the situationof objects in relative motion. Different game options and settings represent different stagesof rehabilitation, with the help of rehabilitation robot, gamers can finish the actionrequired or complete the task in the virtual scene. Finally, display the model use in gameand the scene of game. Summarizes the project results and harvest, and provide somesuggestions for the past-project.The game project simulation result is good, inspired the patients do therehabilitation training, so that the patients desire a more healthy life. The data generatedin the game can correctly display the patient’s rehabilitation status, provide a basis for doctors develop the next step rehabilitation programs, also greatly improves theeffectiveness of rehabilitation.
