Research And Implemention Of Network Traffic Monitoring Based On Android Platform

With the popularity of3G technology and mobile internet, Android and ios,as arepresentative of the smart phone, are gradually used by more and more consumers.Whilethe smartphone brings much fun for people’s life, the Proliferation of mobile data trafficvia accessing network also gradually become a controversial topic.Especially in recentyears, the malicious flow suction for illegal fee and Trojan plugin begin to be more andmore rampant,which causes many cosumers to miserable.In this paper, based on Android platform,we start our work from the two levels ofapplication layer and linux kernel respectively, focus on the traffic monitoring technologyon Android system, discuss a very subtle plugin technology which steals smartphonenetwork flow and it runs in the background. The technology intercepts Netfilter Hook,tampers with the contents of web pages, thus it is very difficult to detect that phone trafficis increased. we also develop a Android traffic monitoring tool, which will makemonitoring each application on the phone very convinient and have and also have trafficstatistics function. For the page obtained from Internet, propose a KNN classificationalgorithm mechanism to complete web page filtering.In the latter part of this article, we give some experimental test results, and give thevalidation of web content tampering which make use of Netfilter framework and linuxkernel module technology using the traffic monitoring tool.
