As the speedy development of internet technology and the high popularity of internet applications, more internet demands are required for daily working and life; however issues caused by internet followed. Doing online chat, video or games when working which might not only decrease working efficiency but also spread confidential information thereby causing serious loss. Hence, how to count the data flow and manage the internet recourse, create a good office environment becomes a significant issue. As an open-sourced and widely used operating system, Linux obtains good network performance, especially the grown up Netfilter architecture after version 2.4 is a very good firewall architecture. Hence, based on Netfilter architecture, in this paper, iptables and Tc tools are used for setting network rules, a network data supervise and count system based on Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP(LAMP) is designed to achieve the supervision and control of internet access among LAN users. Meanwhile, B/S architecture is used in system interface that the connection where password revising, data counting and querying access authority controlling can be realize through visual interface. In this paper, first introduces the research background、the current situation at home and abroad, and the structure of the thesis, then key tech of LAMP, Linux firewall and the architecture of Netfilter firewall are introduced in detail. Then, the system module including network connection and offline, password revising, network data statistics and querying is confirmed by detailed system analyze and design. Then, according to the architecture of the system, set up the system test environment, test on functions according to the test case, and test results are given. The results are consistent with the design requirements, to achieve the desired. Finally, summary and outlook of this work.
