Along with the telecommunication network, the Internet, cable TV networkintegration era, the convergence of product of network television station how to deal withthe fierce competition in the network video industry.This paper aims at the application ofmanagement science to the theory of competitive advantage, from the existing industrycompetition, buyer bargaining power, buyer bargaining power, threat of substituteproducts or services and new entrants threat of five levels of Chinese television networkdevelopment environment, and put forward our country network television operatorscompetitive strategy countermeasure.In this paper the theoretical basis mainly includes competitive strategy, group theory.In this paper the main object is the China network television, including the Chinesenetwork television station, the provincial network of television stations, City UnitedNetwork television. This paper adopts the research methods of comparative analysis, andquantitative analysisWe first introduced the network television Potter profiles and five forces model. Thenfrom multiple dimensions using comparative analysis method on Chinese network TVstation and provincial television network to carry on the comparative analysis, then usePotter’s five forces model to analyze the Chinese network TV competition environment,and then we uses the SWOT of economics analysis of network television competitiveadvantage,finally we put forward four competition strategy for Network TV,includingcost leadership strategy, differentiation strategy, focus strategy, cluster strategy.Our innovation are flexiblely using Michael Potter’s competitive strategy theory fromfive dimensions of network television competition environment, and put forward a varietyof competitive strategy, and comparatively analysis the difference between CNTV andHULU and various provincial television network.
