Tunnel safety is a complex systems engineering, the middle of any link which havenot done well are likely to lead to a huge accident. Now in our country’s tunnelmonitoring system, because of the weak measurement techniques, the on-sitemonitoring data is office error; because of the lack of means in data management andprocessing, the phenomenon of data redundancy is obvious and information’s utilizationis low. In security evaluation, artificial intervention is strong. There are few model ormodel’s function is not strong. Data processing in Tunnel monitoring system is thebackground of this paper. This paper studies on multi sensor data processing and data fusionproblem of Tunnel monitoring system.Through the analysis of the results of multi sensordata fusion, reasonable forecast and judgment can be given in tunnel safety’s situation.Accident or danger can be discovered earlier and alarm can be carried on timely so thatrelief measures can be taken in shortest time.This paper studies the characteristics of each disaster in details and selects the mostsuitable monitoring variables to monitor the tunnel data. Oxygen concentration as oneof monitoring variables in fire monitoring and dust-proof anti-toxic gases monitoringsystem is the first time. Multi-sensor information fusion of tunnel monitoring based onER algorithm is proposed. Assessment method of tunnel monitoring is established basedon ER algorithm. Feature extraction and conversion method which is suit for tunnelmonitoring is proposed. The simulation results show that tunnel monitoring assessmentmethod based on ER algorithm can explicitly show the probability of occurrence ofeach grade, greatly reduce the degree of uncertainty of information and improve theaccuracy of the assessment. By comparing the results, ER algorithm’s fusion result ismuch better in information with uncertainty and evidences with conflict. ER algorithmmakes up the shortfall of DS evidence reasoning and Yager algorithm. It is moresuitable for tunnel monitoring system, and is an effective tool of tunnel monitoringsystem. Finally the realization of tunnel monitoring system is given.
