With the increasing area and improving quality of the forest in our nation,the difficulty in the management of the forest becomes increasingly apparent.In order to protect the forest environment and the artificial forest area,forest environmental monitoring work is vital for formulating reasonable protection measures.Wireless Sensor Networks is a way of monitoring,which is high real-time capability,rapid deployment,low-cost and low-interference.However,due to the complexity of forest and the difficulties in the maintenance of WSNs,it is the key issue of forest monitoring system that how to perform properly,accurately and efficiently in the real forest environment,and how to analysis and utilize the raw sensor data effectively.According to the above problem,this paper presents a multisensory data fusion algorithm for forest monitoring,and proposes an innovative 3-level data fusion method.The algorithm builds 3-level fusion model such as local data fusion,global data fusion and decision level data fusion.Local data fusion is to complete the initial sensor error data processing.Global data fusion is to combine with the characteristics of special low-ranks in WSNs and utilize the theory of compressing sensing for recovering data from data loss which is widespread in WSNs.Decision level data fusion is to analyze and forecast the whole forest environment in three different states,such as forest health status,air cleanliness and purification condition.In order to fulfill above function,which can accurately sense forest environment health status and meet the demand of real-time monitoring,this paper designs and realizes the forest Wireless Environment Sensor Networks system.The system has realized the fault detection of sensor nodes,data real-time monitoring,and the judgement of forest health status.On the basis of the above research,a series of simulated forest environment experiments have been conducted.The experiments show that WESNs system has the advantages of a flexible network communication,larger coverage area,lower resource consumption and data processing in a time and accuracy.Besides,WESNs system supports the fault detection of wireless sensor network.
