Wireless sensor networks assume the task of monitoring underground environment with Low-cost networking, Ad hoc and strong environmental adaptability, etc. Routing of chain-typeunderground wireless sensor network is multi-hop fashion. In multi-hop fashion, node, the closertoSink node the more forwarding task to bear, and overweight forwarding task lead such nodes deathearly. Currently, ways to solve this problem are increase the energy of nodes, nodes alternate workand clustering, but still inadequate: network cost is increasing with node energy increasing, nodesalternate work does not guarantee robustness of the network, clustering does not guarantee real-time performance monitoring. To solve these problems, this paper has been studied from manyaspects.By simplify analysis the physical model of the underground tunnel, combine with definitionand form of multiple coverage, establishment node distribution model of multiple coveragewireless sensor networks underground, that is the research environment of this article. Straightnarrow tunnel comprising fixed nodes and mobile nodes, in order to maintain the routing unity ofoverall network, selected SPIN routing algorithm who support the mobile node better theoreticallytoimproveon,put forwardSPIN improvedrouting algorithmsof fixednodesand mobilenodes.The improved SPIN routing algorithm of fixed nodes introduces gradient concept and threedetermination mechanism,gradient determines the direction of data transfer, to avoid theoccurrence the phenomenon of information explosion, while also provide help the mobile nodespositioning itself. Three determination mechanisms are determining itself gradient, determine thegradient message in received ADV and determine the node operation state. Three determinationmechanismscandeterminedatareceiver.The improved SPIN routing algorithm of mobile nodes introduction different communicationradius and three test solutions. Different communication radius can effectively ensure thecommunication success rate, three test solutions can determine its direction of movement, reducethe frequency with the control center for routing table access information and its own location inthenetwork,also givehelp tonode positioning. Data transmission with theSPIN routing algorithm,select the reasonable node for data transfer according to the change trend of the gradient value.What is more, when node speed stability, the mobile nodes can estimate the position informationitselfat thebeginningofnextworkcyclebyimprovedSPIN algorithmofmobilenodes. Simulation results show that the improved SPIN routing algorithm of fixed nodes can extendthe network lifetime effectively compared to NCWSNFGM algorithm. The improved SPINrouting algorithm of mobile nodes has smaller afforded to anchor node than MNBR algorithm.Both two kinds of improved SPIN routing algorithm can apply in underground environmenteffectively.
