Spectral imaging technique. It mainly uses the principle of optical interference to obtaininterference data of the target. As Fourier Transform relationship between theinterferometric data and spectral data, a data processing must be made to get spectralinformation of the target from interferogram. With spectroscopy becoming an important military investigative means, real-timeaccess to the target spectral information is the new requirement of the spectral dataprocessing. In this paper, on the basis of studying interference stripes recovery method,an interference data recovery system based on FPFA was designed. The core processingchip of the system is the Xilinx high speed digital signal processing FPGA which hasthe advantages of fast processing speed and high integration. This paper introduces thehistory and development status of interference imaging spectrometer firstly, thenanalyzes and summarizes the methods of Fourier transform spectrometer dataprocessing. At the same time a detailed description of spectral restoration theory andrecovery steps was made. Next it discussed the advantages and features of FPGA indigital signal processing, and then one by one achieved the recovery steps involved inthe function module in the FPGA, including the filter module, the apodization module, the FFT module and phase-corrected module and asynchronous read-and-write FIFOand UART serial data transmission module. Finally a circuit debugging and functionaltest of the UART module and data processing module was made. The results prove thatthe designed interfering spectral data processing system using FPGA is feasible.
