With the development of the Space Remote Sensing technology and computer technology, the intellectual imaging spectrum devices came out. The thesis presents a hardware design of a data-transmission system based on PCI bus for interference-imaging spectrometer. By using CPLD technique, the serial signals output from the spectrometer are transformed to parallel signals, and are produced the following signals, such as the parallel clock, the frame-select and the frame-flag. Then an external FIFO is used to extend the inner FIFO of PCI-interface chip and the parallel data are stored temporarily. Finally, the parallel data are input to computer via PCI bus for further processing. And the timing-control signals are produced by the same CPLD, which administers the information exchange among the circuit modules.In the thesis, a WDM driver developed with DriverWorks tool, which is for the transmission card running in Windows 2K/XP OS, is also introduced. The driver supports reliable, efficient and lossless data transmission of the card.The success of the design indicates the further development of the intellectual imaging spectrum device. And it also will be a good reference for the similar design. |
