After nearly20years of development, Guangdong Expressway, with anincreasing traffic flow. The fast access of vehicles has become a crucial problem toencounter. Networking Toll Collection seems to be a feasible solution to deal with it.Networking Toll Collection is now managed by Unitoll Services Incorporation,splits the collected data every day and provides monthly report for each highwaycompany. However, highway companies doubt about the reports provided by UnitollServices Incorporation as they do not have supervision power over the fare collectingsystem. In order to tackle this, Data split and audit system based on virtual flow matchhas been introduced.This thesis will first introduces the background and running process ofNetworking Toll Collection system and investigate the implementation of similarsystems over the country and the world. Secondly, a case study based on a highwaycompany which joins the Networking Toll Collection will be analyzed to illustrate thetechnical problems meet in reality and further points out the expected requirements ofthe system. According to this,system should be divided into three parts of architectureof “Lane-TollGate-Center” and the name of each subsystem could be the exactword.The jobs of Lane subsystem are to creat the virtual flows and upload them;whenthe TollGate subsystem get them,stores them for backup and upload them to Centerwhich the final station of these flows.Once the server receives them,these flows willbe insert into database and procedures will be call by server on steps(match/split/statistic).The thesis will use UML tool to build models and implement it under UnifiedProcess.Data split and audit system uses the foundation of C/S and combines with AVC and OCR equipments. In addition, it takes full advantage of DBMS technology toprocess data, uses matching algorithm to generate split and audit features of virtualtraffic flow, so the system can generate reports automatically and improve workefficiency. As a result, it enables companies to monitor their traffic flow and revenue,compare data with Unitoll as a supervisor.The thesis aims to give a conclusion on the Data split and audit system and bringsfurther discussion to future development and research.
