Laser triangulation is widely applied in the industrial non-contact displacement/velocity measurements. In this paper, A small-angle direct laser triangulation measurement system is proposed, in which the development of device and algorithm are taken into consideration. This method has greatly expanded the scope of application of laser triangulation. The main work include:A method based on laser triangulation is proposed to achieve high accuracy pipeline large range displacement measurement. Developed the small-angle laser triangulation model, and then proposed a calibration method to improve system accuracy. By experiment, optical system adjustment and calibration of measuring system parameters is completed.The design and implement of measuring system is completed using high-speed digital image capture card Xcelera and Piranha2high-speed linear CCD camera. A software used in the measuring system was wrote based on Sapera++Library. Data transmission, processing, storage, output and system control functions are integrate into the MFC framework.A control system is completed based on CameraLink video signal transmission protocols. The embedded image acquisition system for DALSA Piranha2speed camera of was designed based on lattice LC4512V CPLD and TI5509A DSP. Using CPLD logic to achieve timing system, and to Cameral Link protocol data transmission hardware decoding. Through high-speed DSP processing algorithms, real-time location information was gained and outputted by analog and digital ioports to achieve feedback control.
