The object of this essay is RFID protocol test and analysis system. Torealize this system, several key issues were studied and figured out. And thissystem was utilized to optimal design a new protocol in engineering practice.RFID protocol test and analysis system can capture the actualcommunication signal between the reader and tag, translates this signal intomeaningful interaction flow, and analyses fulfillment of communication andapplication protocols. Using this system for system testing, testers can locatethe faults timely and accurately and find out problems that are ambiguous inapplication layer. Testing efficiency of RFID air interface is enhancedobviously. In addition, using this system for a comparative analysis ofexisting RFID systems, designers can optimize the underlying protocol orapplication layer protocol to further improve product performance.To enhance the performance of RFID protocol test and analysis system,there are three key problems to be solved: First, how to improve the signalrecognition capability of demodulated signal. Another problem is how to make it applicable to a variety of RFID communication protocols. What’smore, time cost of signal processing should be decreased to minimum. Tosolve problem one, interpolation was used to improve signal to noise ration,and a modified cross-correlation matching algorithms was used to improvesignal recognition accuracy. To solve problem two, layered softwarearchitecture was designed according to stratified analysis of RFID standardsbased on OSI layered model. To reduce the time cost, FFT is used incombined with rectangular window to compute cross correlative coefficients.Practical application showed that the proposed solutions effectively improvefault tolerance, versatility and speediness of RFID test and analysis system.This article concludes with an application of this RFID protocol test andanalysis system to optimization design of the existing protocol ISO14443.The modified ISO14443performed better when read and write data in a largesection, for time cost of protocol was reduced to a minimum.
