RFID technology is a non-contact automatic identification technology. In recent years, RFID technology is developing very rapidly at home and abroad, and many manufacturers are producing the RFID products, which has been widely used in industrial automation, business automation, transport, control and management and many other fields. RFID test is a RF test, verify whether the RF performance in accordance with the standard. As one of the developing field of wireless communications, RFID technology also has its own unique specificity, such as standard diversification; require real-time response and so on. Currently, traditional test equipment manufacturers have not yet introduced the protocol Tester for RFID.Facing the huge Requirement for RFID testing and the shortage of related test equipment, this paper adopts NI modular instruments-PXI building a RFID protocol conformance automatic test system. UHF RFID standards request building microsecond level real-time communication between tag and reader, so we adopt a PCI IF RIO, a down converter to achieve real-time communication process, FPGA is used to establish microsecond-level real-time communication, and host computer is used for signal analysis of the physical layer and protocol layer. Test system software platform is LabVIEW. At the same time, using TestStand to build test sequences, which is completing the automated test. TestStand is an excellent test management software and highly increases test development efficiency easy to manage complex automatic test flow.
