It is more advantageous to use wideband digital channelized technology in ESM systemthan traditional analog receiver. Broadband IF signal can be decomposed into multiplesub-band signal, which reduce the signal bandwidth and improve the sensitivity of the signalseparation slip. The multiple sub-band signal that decomposited by broadband digitalchannelized receiver was used to measure the frequency, phase and to analyze inpulsefingerprint. The efficient of the polyphase filter and the flexibility of FFT greatly reduced thecomputational speed and computing capacity, that makes it practical to real-time processhundreds megabytes of the front-end bandwidth signal.This paper firstly discussed the basic principles of the rapid and efficient channelizedreceiver which based on the polyphase filterbank. An efficient channelized structure andsimulation analysis was given based on the software radio theory, band-pass sampling theoryand multi-rate sampling theory and so on. In order to make the receiver design more flexible,we discussed the weighted overlap-add (WOLA) receiver structure that no relationshipbetween the extraction ratio and the number of channels, analyzed its performance throughsimulation.Secondly, broadband non-uniform digital receiver was introduced, strict uniform andfixed channel are not suited to the increasing complexity of modern radar environment. Thisarticle focuses on analysis of two non-uniform receiver structure. One is based on thestructure of reconstruction filter banks. An efficient dynamic channellied the implementationstructure was derived, and the simulation of the structure was analyzed; The other onenon-uniform channelized receiver which based on non-uniform cosine modulated structure.The design of cosine modulated filter and the form of non-uniform synthesis matrix was given.Non-uniform cosine modulated channellied receiver structure was derived and the simulationof the structure was given.Again, we analyzed several inpluse frequency measured methods of the receiver, gavethe measurement accuracy and the adapt environment of the different methods. We give thecorresponding method of identification and the identification probability statistics of different SNR based on the analysis of the modulation characteristics of intra-pulse phase encoding(PSK) signal and frequency modulated (FM) signal.Finally, hardware design of the channelized receiver based on the theoretical analysis,the overall design was given, system functions were tested and analyzed.
