Our country is a great coastal country with wide sea area, the rich marine resource ofwhich initiate contest between other countries. Underwater vehicle plays a crucial role duringthe process of defending our territorial sea rights. However, the internal structure ofunderwater vehicle is complex, and people are distributed relatively. So a more accurate andtimely system of the internal environment monitoring and personnel location of theunderwater vehicle is urgently needed. This system can transmit the information of the peopleand environment, at the same time achieve the basic data statistics rapidly. According to this,commander can make the effectual decision, and the personnel safety can also get theprotection. From this perspective, this paper design and achieve the internal environmenttimely monitoring and personnel information management of underwater vehicle.Firstly, this paper studies the research status of the Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) technology, wireless sensor network (WSN) technology and environmentalmonitoring technology. Based on deeply studying RFID, WSN and system netting technology,the paper chooses the appropriate integration mode of RFID and WSN, communicationtechnique, and network topology for this system. Secondly, this paper studies severalalgorithms of RFID location and combines the LANDMARC system with the region locationalgorithm for personal positioning system. The paper also studies the shortcoming inLANDMARC system, provides one improvement method which error self-correction toimprove precision.This paper detail analysis the actual demanding of this system, and brings up the wholedesign project of the internal environment monitoring and personnel location system ofunderwater vehicle based RFID. The paper carries on the detailed exposition from the twoaspects, one is the hierarchical structure of system, and the other is the function structure ofsystem. On this basic, the paper provides the hardware and software design project of thissystem, and brings up the software overall framework, functional module of system and thedetailed design of system database.In the last of this article, according to the whole design project of this system, under theVisual studio2008development environment and using C#language, this paper achieves theuser login module, the device management module, the cabin management module, thepersonnel management module, the host run-time subsystem and the alarm module of thesystem software. Based on finishing the work of design and realization the upper computer software, the paper makes the function test and performance test for this system. The resultsof test demonstrate the system software can realize the basis functions of personal location,environment monitoring, alarming and so on. This system can operates stably for long time,the reliability and real-time of the system all meet user’s demands.
