The Application Of ASON Technology In Transmission Systems

With the development of telecommunications networks and the improvement of user needs,SDH optical transmission system exposes a number of issues,the complexity of the operational configuration,low bandwidth utilization rate,a single way to protect and large amount of maintenance.In order to effectively solve the above problems,a new type of network system came into being,which is automatically switched optical network(ASON),which is commonly referred to as intelligent optical network.The transmission network gradually intelligentizing are inevitable,whether from technology development, from solving the problem of the network.ASON is becoming the hot application of the transmission network. ASON technology learned the intelligent IP network features through existing optical transmission online increasing control plane,made optical transmission network have more flexible network domain,strengthened the Internet use efficiency and fast network protection restore ability,and had MESH network. Main business provides SLA function characteristics.This thesis mainly discusses the key technologies of ASON, based on the GMPLS RSVP-TE and CE-LDP signaling protocol analysis and comparison.routing technology and automatic detection technology etc. and proposes the necessity of introducing ASON technology.and presents a rough architecture, technical features, main advantages,current status and development trends of ASON technology.We can see advantages of ASON technology as well as the revolutionary changes of networks brought by ASON through analysing. This paper introduces the network and protection method of the first plane ALCATEL1678MCC and the second plane HUAWEI OSN9500equipment of China Telecom ASON network.The successive construction of such couple network brings strong protection method to transmission network of China Telecom, to a great extent,it proves the security and tolerance of user’s service.
