The occurrence of coal resources in Sichuan Province are relatively poor, butthe coal resources are widely distributed, the existing mining rights are more and theconstruct is more complex, so it is very necessary to carry out the present situationinvestigation of the coal resources reserves utilization in Sichuan Province. The coalresources reserves verification result database construction in Sichuan Province isone of important content of the present situation investigation of the coal resourcesreserves utilization in Sichuan Province.The existing database system of coalresources reserves is mergered by several different levels of coal resources reservesdatabase,the connection between those databases is poor, the data that represent thesame attribute in different databases often conflicts,also not easy to operate,Andthese database only reflect the relevant circumstances of single mining area in anexploration stage, which can’t achieve the comprehensive comparison between themulti-stage field exploration data, and have the certain limitation.For acomprehensive grasp of coal resources reserve utilization in Sichuan Province, tofind out the coal resources reserves "family property" and to strengthen themanagement of mining right, to further improve the planning, management,protection and rational development and utilization of the coal resources reserves inSichuan Province, through the study of the method of coal resources reservesverification results database construction, efforts to establish a set of the latest coalresources reserves verification result database in Sichuan Province after the differentperiods and the different exploration,which can realize the transition of the coalresources reserves that managed by one dimensional attribute data management to3dspatial data management,and lay the foundation for3d dynamic supervision and management of coal resources and reserves.Based on the southern Sichuan coalfield "M mine" as the research object, thispaper describes in detail the building process of the coal resources reserveverification results database in Sichuan province. This article mainly from the Mmine verification result space graphics library construction and the M mineverification results attribute database construction in two parts were discussed,emphasis on the verification units division, four MapGIS space map documentproduction and the entry of Access attribute database and other related content, atlast, this paper briefly introduces the building process of the Sichuan provincial coalsummary results database,and a part of thematic data was extracted by the statisticalanalysis.The entire database conduct the quality monitoring on the process of reservesverification results database in real time, ensure the establishment of a complete setof coal reserves verification results database with integrity, standard and correct.Obtained mainly the following results:(1)"Not repeat not leak" as the basic principle of verification unitsclassification. Under this premise, through the combination of naturalgeography,mineralizing rules and geological structure and topography condition, theabove table "mining area" as the foundation, divide verification units reasonably andadjust them with the field survey and validation. Based on this, the coal resourcesreserves utilization survey in sichuan province were delineated by the411verification units,including large verification unit40, medium-sized verification unit36, small verification unit335; divided coal verification mining area7, including2National Planning coal mining area;(2)"MapGIS" as space map database construction platform,according to therelative regulations of the requirements of database technology, all kinds of thecollected geological exploration maps results of M mine conduct unifiedprojection,unified vector,unified layer coding and unified management of thelegend,so as to establish the M coalfield verification results maps database which isthe MapGIS format, including the terrain and geologic map1a, Inoue undergroundengineering comparison map1a, mining engineering map1a,mineral reservesestimation map6a, resource reserves utilization3a,and so on;(3)"Input system" as attribute database construction platform, through theanalysis, sorting, induction of the calendar year exploration or verification reportmaterial of M coalfield, according to certain entry principle, followed by21pieces of Access data tables for data entry, the system automatically generate KCL_KC(mineral point record) and KCL_KCD (properties record), which be used andrecorded the relevant information of the administrative code and region of Mcoalfield, so as to establish the verification results attribute database which contains23pieces of the Access data form of the M coalfield;(4) All delineated411verification units which verification results databaseconstruction is completed are participated in single mineral provincial summaryabout coal, and establish the provincial summary database of coal resources inSichuan province. Through the summary statistics can be informed: the number ofthe coal mining area in Sichuan Province are with mainly small-scale mines, butresource reserves are still with mainly large-scale mines; the majority of theexploration of the verification unit is a higher degree, the proportion of the extent ofexploration and detailed investigation is larger; By December31,2009, theaccumulative total of coal cumulative identify resources reserves in Sichuanprovince is to XXXX49.85tons, of which the total of the cumulative retain resourcereserves is the largest,accounting for84.92%; identifying the type of resourcereserves mainly for class111b, class121b, class122b, class2M22, class2S11, class2S21, class2S22, class331, class332, class333. Among them, amount of the class333of resource reserves is the largest, accounting for about58.23%of totalidentified reserves. the coal resource gross in Sichuan province is lesser, but theoverall development and utilization degree is low, maintain reserves are relativelylarger, lately the development and utilization of the potential is larger.
