Faced with the increasing congestion status in urban traffic, people all over theworld have proposed an idea of Green Travel. The sharp increasing number of thenon-motor vehicle and the travel rate also brought a lot of management problems. Inthe urban traffic, the phenomenon of reverse driving, occupying the vehicle lanes,violation manning is always found. As one of the three essential technologies ofinternet of things, Radio frequency identification (RFID) can quickly and accuratelyidentify items by non-contact way of bidirectional data communication. RFID apply invehicle management have many advantages such as real time, high efficiency, and longdistance,A management system has been designed for the present status of non-motorizedvehicle management in this paper, including the key device--RFID equipment design.First of all,the paper analyzed research background technology and current situationabout the vehicle management, and combining the present technology it proposed anon-motorized vehicle management system on the city based on RFID, elaborated thebasic theory, principles of the core technology(RFID technology)used in the,combining the active RFID technology designed a set of bicycle management systemscheme which can be both used in the traffic and bike park, and it has analyzed anddesigned the circuit and firmware completely, at last introduced the install, deploymentand test results,which has proved the system is greatly used in bicycle management.The main results achieved in this article are as follows:(1)The functions such as vehicle registration, real-time monitoring, and randominventory have been provided for the manager in the vehicle system. And the system which inhibits the phenomena of driving of vehicle violations, frequently stolen and soon can also provide the safety guarantee for the user.(2)The design used a correspond working mode between the vehicle tags andkey tags to realize the association of user and bike, address code matching anddynamic clock synchronization are used in the design to achieve ultra-low powercommunication between the two battery-powered wireless nodes, and has realized thecontinuous use of one year without charging, The key tag can be working for threeyears.(3)The automatic multi-byte reading and writing algorithms are used in thefirmware to modify and query the bicycle information fast and efficiently. Only onceairport communication can complete a process of comprehensive vehicle informationswitching.(4)RFID reader module and the smart phone Bluetooth docking has realized aportable low-cost hand-held acquisition program.In accordance with the above research content, the thesis is divided into fivechapters, Chapter1: introduction, introduced the research background, technic-alpresent situation; Chapter2: the technology of active RFID and its applications,described the domestic and foreign current situation, the principles of composition andthe classification of application about RFID which used in design. Chapter3: thedesign of non-motorized vehicle management system based on active RFID, combinedwith a variety of wireless communications technology this paper described the systemhardware and software architecture and the working mode of the system; Chapter4:system-critical devices design,combined with the active RFID, the hardwarecircuitry and firmware of these devices has been analyzed and designed in detail;Chapter5: the system deployment and test, introduced the processes of installation anddeployment about the system component, and descried the operation effect and testresult of the system.
