Intelligent Home Control System Based On The CAN Bus

With the progress of human civilization and the development of science and technology,people’s living standard has improved rapidly.High technology has affected every aspect of people’s life, changed people’s habits and improved the quality of people’s life, so the intelligent home came into being in this situation. With the design concept of "economy, convenience, comfort, intelligence", intelligent home control system has become one of the selling points that are concerned about by many businesses. The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows:Firstly,in this paper the related concepts of the intelligent home and its current development at home and abroad are introduced, its development trend in future and some problems existing in the development process are also analysed.Based on the research to market related products of the intelligent home,we came out the research’s significance and contents.Secondly, in this paper the communication protocol mechanism of CAN field bus and its protocol model and technical characteristics is discussed, network construction scheme by regarding the CAN bus as the bottom control network is also described.we established the system hardware platform using Microchip company’s dsPICDEM1.1Plus development board as the core controller board, and extending the peripheral circuits.In this platform,we designed several typical terminal intelligent nodes, and gave the hardware circuit design and software design of its core part. also considering the functional requirements of the user need remote control and query all kinds of home information,we developed a suitable control protocol to home system.Finally, using the PC as a host computer, a host control software is prepared using Microsoft Visual C#, and the system monitoring interface is designed. And regarding the PC machine as a gateway, a family internal network is connected to the internet using Socket communication. Remote monitoring adapted C/S mode, and gave specific realization between the server and the client.System remote monitoring function is realized.
