Analysis Of The Discourse Power Of Medical Disputes In Cyberspace

This study is based on the medical disputes reported by Sina News Network, through the analysis of the theme,the way, the position and effect of the reports, we try to figure out how the official、the hospital、the patients and family members to express in this kind of news. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is based on content of Sina News about medical disputes report analysis, summarize the expression situation of the government, hospital, patients and their families in cyberspace. The second part is on the basis of case analysis, summarize and analyze the method for discourse power contention which presented by the media. The third part is on the basis of the former two parts to think the media anomie and counter measures in such reports.Through the analysis of the medical disputes report in Sina News Network from 2014 to 2015,we find that the state of the expression of the three paty discourse is not balanced. First of all, the government still holds the absolute power to say. Secondly, compared to the old pattern of communication,on behalf of the benefits of the doctors discourse expression gradually increased, the hospital is no longer the "Aphasia" in the new pattern of communication. Finally,the patient and families were weighted least,discourse expression their expression more than found in specific medical disputes.Three parties not only exists in the words to express the weight difference, also have different discourse expression content. Government as a high power group,the main content of their discourse expression is propaganda of rational measures to solve medical disputes, "severely punish doctors involved in violence", "medical dispute profiteer in punishment" become government discourse expression of high-frequency words. The hospital mainly through the bad practice environment rendering, call for the attention and maintenance of the legitimate rights and interests. The expression of the the patients and family members is mainly expressed as the image of the victims of medical incidents.The second part through of "operating room self timer event" and "Xiangtan maternal death event" network transmission path analysis showed that, two events first exposed in the microblogging platform. The intervention of traditional media makes two events in cyberspace formed a "network of acceleration and propagation", forming a powerful transmission potential; finally by the government representatives of traditional mainstream media intervention, opened a the truth of the incident, reversing the direction of public opinion.In the communication process of the two events, the government through the use of traditional media and Weibo,adopt the method of "fill the information vacuum", the first time released the incident investigation report, holds the right to speak of the incident investigation period. With more usesing of the media such as weibo, the patients published the content which has the qualities of "strange attractor" in the event of the initial outbreak. By the traditional media report forwarded, the initial events of public opinion overwhelmingly accused the hospital.The patients control the discourse of this period. Although thanks to government policy expression and media shaping the image of "vulnerable groups", the hospital’s capital for the right of discourse more and more abundant in cyberspace, but in two cases of medical disputes, compared with government and patient, hospital discourse expression is less,the hospital in a state of "Aphasia".In the process of communication, the media should spread the information in a true and comprehensive way, and become the space and carrier of rational and balanced expression. However, through the analysis of the former two parts, I found, media without investigation for sensational effection will be two incidents as the hospital’s fault caused the patients from the loss in the early period of exposured. This causing public opinion is overwhelmingly accused the hospital early. At the same time, the media reported in the two incidents, rarely using the hospital as a news source, causes the hospital aphasia in medical disputes. Improper media reports made public acceptance of information produced by the deviation, that tend to produce debate, and it is not conducive to the rational and effective resolution of the incident.This has caused immeasurable damage to the community and the medical community. In addition to the above mentioned in the report out of range, the review class reports occupy a certain weight, which has become the media in the medical disputes reported in the desirability of.In social practice, the media should be timely corrected some anomie phenomenon in communication, by giving those "fragmented" information is a kind of logic and structure, to enable the public to form accurate and rational grasp of medical events, realize its social effect promptly rectified propagation.
