Compound axis servo system are divided into two different types according to the number of detectors that are used, Compound axis servo system using a-CCD based tracker and Compound axis servo system using double-CCD based tracker. The latter were widely used due to its high accuracy. There are no much reports about compound axis servo system using a-CCD based tracker at home and abroad. This paper analyze the key control problems of compound axis servo system using a-CCD based tracker, and designs a method to eliminate the coupling problems of the system, and presents a method which estimates the system whether are decoupled or not according to the tracking accuracy. Simulation and experiment data are given, the results shows that there is a good uniformity between experiment and theory analysis.
