Various kinds of large mechanical appear constantly, with the progress ofhuman society science and technology. And it keep people from heavy manual labor.But there’re also have many problems that let people a headache by followingequipment failure. The most important reason is breakdown of component whichcaused by failing to discover the too high temperature of main components in time. Itis difficult to monitoring large machinery of the main parts at real time in all kinds ofcomplex environment. So this paper puts forward a set of solutions for theequipment’s temperature monitoring in the complex environment.This paper puts forward The MSP430F series ultra-low power SCM andZigBee chip-based wireless temperature detection system. The paper research thetemperature detection’s theory and give design of the software and make it out. TheSystem make full use of SCM resources. So it have many advantages, such as smallportable、high-performance、low power consumption、programmable and so on. So thesystem can widely used in many fields for the temperature detection. The systemmake up by three parts:(1) the bottom temperature detection system;(2) Long-distancedata transmission system;(3) upper-computer system.The bottom temperature detection system achieve the temperature data wirelessshort distance transmission function. Each temperature measurement node collecttemperature data and send it to handset. The single-hop distance between temperaturemeasurement node and handset can reach50to70m, and the node also have routingfunction while it take detecting the temperature job. When the distance between onetemperature measurement node and handset more than70m,and then the handsetcould not receive the node’s information. At this time the node could search nearbynodes automatically, and send the temperature data to handset through the nodes thatin the range of handset could receive. The handset show each temperature data in turnthat was detected by each node.Long-distance data transmission system is mainly used to solve the problemwhat is the distance between the monitoring room and temperature measurement siteto far. This part send temperature measurement site’s data to the monitoring roomthrough moving GPRS network by using tow intelligent wireless data terminals. Andthat get rid of the distance’s limit between the monitoring room and temperaturemeasurement site.The upper-computer system provide two kinds of interface: RS-232and RJ45.And it also provide concise intuitive interface. User could understanding the wholesystem in operation status intuitive clear by the interface. And the system with alarmfunction when exceptions occurs.The bottom temperature detection system with automatic routing function hasgreatly improved the limit of the transmission distance of ZigBee in this design. Thedistance between the temperature measurement node and the handset be expanded,also make the whole temperature measurement system work range expand. At the same time,the long-distance data transmission system been joined for solving thedistance limit that between the monitoring room and temperature measurement site.The system send the temperature measurement site data to monitoring room throughmoving GPRS network, and this function could help the system get rid of thedistance’s limit between the monitoring room and temperature measurement site. Andalso greatly increased the system’s scope application. So the system could be used inmany kinds of fields of temperature measurement job. The system design could bewidely used in many fields. And the system also have high application value for basedon the above two points advantage.
