Continuous improvement of people to material and culture needs promotes therapid development of science and technology. Under this impetus,3D TV’stechnology is continuously improved and the products are continuously updated. Thissubject deeply researched side guide light LED backlit LCD module shutter type3Ddisplay technology, built prototype and optimized3D display effect.This paper first briefly analyzes the domestic and foreign3D TV technology,product market situation and development trend, and then clarifies the researchsignificance of this subject. Chapter II introduces3D display principle andmainstream technology, and clarifies technical difficulties of LCD module shuttertype3D display by analyzing LCD display principle, which indicates the direction ofthis subject development.Chapter Ⅲ introduces hardware implementation of LED side guide light shuttertype3D LCD module. For circuit, focuses on introducing the design of circuit mainfunctional modules, of which including power supply circuit, main control circuit,PMU circuit, GM circuit and backlight control circuit. For backlight, mainlyintroduces the design of light bar and LGP. The novelties of subject’s hardware designare main control chip integrating3D format conversion, MEMC and LCD panelsequential control function, doesn’t need separate FRC chip, thus simplify the circuitand improve the reliability of circuit. At the same time, in order to support backlightscanning and optimize3D effect to use a new LGP design method.Chapter Ⅳ first introduces evaluation method of3D display effect, and thenanalyzes the factors of affecting LCD shutter type3D display effect, proposes twooptimization methods and verifies these two methods by test.Finally, ths paper summarizes the subject work and looks to the future work.
