China's domestic media has been making great strides forward for doing the international communication these years, however; still have a long way to go. It mainly lies in the fact that we haven't developed an acceptable media image around oversea receivers. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain favorable international communication. Global media with proficient communication skills, various receivers, are great challenges for domestic international media. In the other words, well media image, which facilitates information communication, is most importantly for us. The image media mentioned in the thesis refers to a reflection of receivers about the performance and characteristics of the media as well as an overall comment to the media by the receivers. This thesis develops that the image of media is determined by the contents of what the media report. Each chapter serves to explain three elements, which consist of the media image: the public trust, the information quantity and affinity. In international communication, the way to improve our media image is equal to increase public trust, enrich information and develop infinity of media. The body of this thesis is chapter â…¡, chapter â…¢ and chapter â…£. A logical way of arguments is to advance questions, analyze questions and solve questions. Therefore, this thesis develops from such three dimensions: basic theory of media image, a general introduction of domestic media image in international communication and how to improve our media image in international communication.
