Beijing Unicom centralized billing system is the core system of Beijing Unicom, it is also the important part of BSS. It is a combination of landline telephone, PHS(Personal Handy-phone System), the broadband and2G,3G. With the fast continuous development of3G and the company’s focusing on the real-time business, there is higher requirements on the centralized billing system. With the increase in business, more complex business logic and across business service package is increasing, the real-time centralized billing system faces high demand. Only relying on traditional disk database can’t fully meet the urgent needs. So what kind of technology can meet such demand, and doesn’t lose the key characteristic as the telecom billing system, which also can satisfy the huge continuous growth demand and make sure the billing system stability.In this paper, we focus on this. Firstly we introduce three kinds of applicable technology. Secondly, through the qualitative analysis of advantages and disadvantages and data analysis, we select the technology we need. Considered with the software and hardware conditions, we design Beijing Unicom centralized billing system which can achieve real-time billing. And then we put forward some maintenance problems that encountered in the routine maintenance, we analyze the problems and gave the solutions, in order to optimize the system and improve the system.
