Embedded technology is a general course of electronics and its related majors like electronic technology, communication, computer technology, software engineering and so on in our universities. And it must be mastered. Meanwhile, there are two directions of embedded technology. One is embedded hardware, and the other is embedded software. The former one mainly refers to the hardware design of platform kernel and its surrounding areas, including the design of driver software at this level. The latter one means development and design of the transplantation, optimization, and library function ect. of embedded operation system, as well as them of application software within operation systems.In2006, Sunplus designed the32-bit kernel belonging to our own-Chinese. Under the belief of contributing to China’s digital education, Sunplus started to promote kernel S+Core7different from ARM series around the country. It is under the guidance of Sunplus’belief that the program is carried out.During the past four years, the author chose many universities including key universities, common ones as well as junior colleges to do thorough survey and research on current situations of embedded education. In the thesis, after the analysis of research result, the author finds the software and hardware teaching in embedded education and its key learning points.Then, according to the results, and with the combination of the32-bit chip provided by Sunplus, the author designed the most optimized embedded education plan. The plan has unique advantages on video processing and also emphasizes the basic learning.Finally, the author organizes a team as per the most optimized design plan, and guides the team members to do overall design and production. During the course, the author mainly participated in software related work, including composing a large number of basic experiments within the complied environment of the system, standardizing the software composition methods and rules of annotation. All the above dramatically reduces the time taken by teachers and students to master the software development environment and composition principles of this embedded chip.Meanwhile, the author hopes that this paper can contribute some to China’s embedded education and to basic ideas of embedded chip composition.
