Research On Cross-Database Searching Based On Grid

Cross-search is an important part of digital library building, mainly by providing the reunification of the search interface, and avoid users find resources with a number of database and switch. The cross-search based on the grid can make the grid techniques and cross-search together, and full use of grid technical resources and sharing of the great advantage for the search service.Based on the analysis of the key technolog of the grid computing and home or abroad to study the status about corss-search, directed to the problems and inadequate in cross-search, in this thesis researched and found a model based on grid middleware technolog. In this thesis introduce the architecture of cross-search based on grid technology, expatiating on the model designing ideas, focuses on access to resources and resources in order to integrate with the resources for a number of key technical implementation, and use web services based on frames designed a system.Through the functions and performance tests and analyses indicate that the cross-search system based on the grid was designed reasonable, it is easy for user to have a higher efficiency searches, and it is better advantage in the searching time, and recall rate.
