Because of the development of modern science and technology have part of the traditional energy use by power instead. The development of new energy and the science of existing energy use has become not honor of contempt for the contemporary social problems. Diesel generator sets were invented to supply electricity and played an important role in modern power supply.Diesel generator sets help to lift restrictions of environment and application for traditional power supply. In recent years, power supply has been highly demanded with more and more private and state-owned enterprises established, efficient and clean diesel generator sets are applied by many enterprises with low cost maintenance, they can be used as uninterruptible power supply.Although diesel generator sets being widely used, high punctuality and accuracy are required when generators are monitored, which are hardly implemented by people. Monitoring network system could be designed to conduct automatic and remote start, stop, control and inspection, etc, which could improve efficiency and accuracy of data from generators.A background network system is needed to monitor generators with equipment driving and start desktop, monitoring software and client software are also necessary to collect and upload the data of generators. Remote controllers of generators will conduct monitoring, inspection and breakdown repairing etc. A great amount of investment and labor force could be saved and punctuality and accuracy could also be saved.System made of two parts:platform and controller. Platform was established based on PC to monitor. Controller is equipped with remoter controllers to control a few different generators.The background monitoring system, based on.NET, could control generators according to information and data collected by itself. Engine data collection, upload the data acquisition device finish, electrical parameters of the acquisition and upload the IG-NT module completed, the last data through the intelligent communication management unit to the computer and the completion of the management of the generator set operation parameters. So it can realize real-time accurate monitoring through Internet diesel generator, and ensure the normal operation of generating units.
