At present, many companies, universities and other research institutes usually have a variety of expensive electronic devices for research. Usually devices are put together and the management of electronic devices often uses artificial ways, that way not only less efficient or lack of flexibility, but also prone to loopholes in the management. Therefore, the design of an efficient, rigorous electronic device management system to reach auto control and management is necessary. Only in this way, universities, enterprises and scientific research units can improve the management level and the work efficiency will be stable. So this article focuses on the design and implementation of RFID-based electronic devices management system.This system uses a way about combination of software and hardware development. Not every electronic device provides the third interface to reach convinent control,So we need an hardware which can control the electronic devices. In the hardware aspect, we need C51microcontroller as the core for different device to produce control module, these devices through the access control module to the wireless control system, control of electronic devices. And Software use the campus card system do the user authentication, identification and chargeback capabilities, using ad-hoc networks and zigbee protocol to communicate and accomplish storage and management of data. In the design and implementation of software, in accordance with the waterfall model, according to the specification requirements analysis and system design, using UML diagrams does the visual description of the semantics of the real world. This system is under the Windows operating system, using the VC++development using Microsoft SQL Server2005to manage the data, and the software structure of the CS structure and the lower program is developed by using Keil uVersion.The main functions of the RFID-based electronic device management system include device monitoring, device control, device management, rights management, user management, history, statistical reports, providing decision-making, alarm and log function. Device monitoring and control is the core of the system function, other functions analyse the data of monitoring and control. The development of this system on the use of software engineering methods and design principles, hardware and software, thus greatly improving the efficiency and reduce the difficulty of testing and maintenance, to improve the work efficiency of the system. This article also uses the software engineering process and step-by-step narrative, and from requirements analysis, hardware and software design, hardware machine program and the desk program, do a detailed description of the three aspects of the system.
