The concept of "the Internet of Things" was first proposed in 1999, this concept proposed a network that connect all things with sensors like RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) to the Internet, so it can help to achieve the goal of intelligent identification and management. The Internet of Things is called the third wave of the global IT industry after the Invention of Computer and the Internet. Experts believe that the Internet of Things will not only do help to improve economic efficiency and to lower the costs, but also serve as the power for the global economic recovery. As the development of the Internet of Things and wireless sensors, a variety of RF cards show up in our daily life. These cards are cheap, easy to carry, easy to read and write by devices and can store a lot of information. Take the digitalization of campus for example, the RF cards (we call them campus cards) serve as the identification for teachers and students, we use them to consumer, we also use them to borrow books in the library and get access to some buildings. Colleges and universities are educational institutions, there are always a lot of large equipments and devices, the management of these devices has become an important task. Currently, the most common way used in equipment management is to do it artifitially, this is not only inefficient, but also prone to have a variety of regulatory loopholes. Therefore, to design an efficient, robust equipment management system is very necessary. To respond to the digital process of the campus, it is reasonable and feasible to use RFID system such as campus card system as a medium of large equipment and device management system. The basic idea of the device management system this article introduced is:using RF card as the user's access credentials and for consumption management, the system use the campus card system to identify users and deduct fees. We use wireless network to connect equipments and devices, all devices are controllable remotely. In this way, the whole process does not appear in cash flow which effectively prevents the loss of all funds. Users can choose devices, pay fees and use devices all by themselves other than an equipment administrator. This system can also help to query usage records of devices and statistical analysis in order to keep abreast of equipment usage and utilization rate, in contrast, paper records are easier to be lost or defaced.
