With the strong economic growth, scale of various electrical facilities and units is becoming bigger continuously. This makes the management and maintenance of complex electrical property more difficult. Under manual management mode, the effort for equipments management is quite huge, not only querying the information for existent equipment, but registering the incoming equipments; as well as running electrical test and tensile testing for the devices which reach test period, reminding to test the equipments which exceed the test period. Additionally, the manual operation will lead to various mistakes easily, and the AQSIQ has raised a strict requirement for the storage condition of live working apparatus、insulating operated equipment and insulating protective equipment. Currently, the traditional cabinet has no devices to control humidity and temperature, tools is deployed without any order, all these cannot meet the standard of security. With such background, Intelligent safety equipment cabinet merges because of demand, it solves previous problems and each intelligent safety equipment cabinet works alone with a controller, which could display the status of tools, temperature.etc. However, it cannot be monitored remotely; it must be operated locally, which is inconvenient very much. This also needs much effort and increase dangerous. For now, the marker could provide a few kinds of PC monitoring configuration software, but they doesn’t aim at minor enterprises, and not cheap enough neither. Thus, a small free customized Online monitoring system software for intelligent safety equipment cabinet is quite necessary.This project is from Shan Dong ZhongRui Company, it introduces the design and implement of online monitoring system for intelligent safety equipment cabinet. The PC software is developed in C++Builder6.0, takes Windows XP as its OS platform, use MySQL to provide the DB support. The system working flow is:the host computer send the retrieval instructions from instructions queue to every cabinet; displays the gathered under-layer data onto panel simultaneously; records the changed value and over-threshold value, save all there information(including the information generated after computing as various requirement) into MySQL. Besides, according to different requirement, send down-stream commands to set humidity, temperature and test date for specific tools in Cabinet.After deep analysis of project background and requirement,3-layer data structure is designed out. They are channel layer、equipment layer and testpoint layer, they are aimed at various working environment correspondingly for insulated tools or powered operation tools, thus transformer substation, cabinet, tools in cabinet and humidity/temperature controlling devices. It centralized data and event logic from different layers into these3layers. The specific implement method is to design3classes:channel class, device class, and testpoint class. This article introduces the practical design and implement for every modules of online monitoring system for intelligent safety equipment cabinet in detail. The major module includes communication management module, simultaneous monitor module, background management module and storage module. Each module is in charge of different function and cooperates together. This makes it convenient for the electrical company worker to observe storage status of tools located in different cabinet of different transformer substation.This system has passed test and got expected satisfaction. It’s simple and practical top-cabinet device software, which is appropriate to the customized configuration requirement of minor enterprise. Currently, the system has been deployed and running stably.
