In recent years, with the development of information technology in the field of agricultural applications, the agricultural information developed rapidly and agricultural management information made further progress, which laied a good foundation for national agricultural information in the "12th Five-Year’This study focused on information technology of agricultural production, agricultural operation, agricultural management and agricultural services, etc. The agricultural information service platform was constructed based on the informationization of agriculture bureau in Dongying city. According to the software design processing, system requirements were analyzed at first and the use case diagrams of the key use cases, including system management use cases, information publishing use cases, plant protection use cases, soil testing use cases, land resell use cases and crop distribution use cases, were shown. Then we described the overall logic of the system architecture and technical architecture. The platform was constructed using the widely used MVC structure. Then the whole system was divided into several subsystems according to the key use cases. The functions of each subsystem were designed particularly and implemented. The system is scalability and easy to expand as a result of component technology.The platform has been integrated in the "Efficient ecological agriculture information network of Yellow River Delta (Dongying)" after developing and testing. The corresponding functions could be accessed through the website link. The implementation of this platform would greatly promote the development of agricultural information in Dongying City. We should focus on the aspects of security of agricultural products supply, security of agricultural products quality, security of agro-ecological and security of agricultural operation, and construct modern agriculture information service platform.
