This paper expounds the development status of the modern civil aircraft environmentalcontrol system and the function of the environmental control system in the cockpit during theoperation of aircraft safety on account of the background and significance of the research. Afterthat, it then elaborated on some important parameters of the enclosing cabin environment, such ascabin temperature, cabin altitude, cabin pressure, and so on. The second chapter of paperhighlights the main systems of the modern civil aircraft environmental control system, the fourmajor systems which include pneumatic system, the temperature control system, cabin pressurecontrol system and air distribution system are discussed. These lay the foundation for the analysisof the modern civil aircraft environmental control system.The third chapter takes the temperature control system as an example, analyzes the controlprocess of environmental control system. First of all, it founds the mathematical model.According to the temperature control system structure and principle, it concludes the diagram ofthe temperature control system, and then draws out the block diagram and charts, and equivalenttransformation. After that, it worked out the transfer function of the temperature control system.Second, it takes the example of using the temperature selector to control the temperature of civilaircraft to make the time domain and stability analysis of the temperature control system.In the fourth chapter, the paper discusses mainly the environmental control system operationand reliability analysis as well as the fault analysis and trouble shooting of the environmentalcontrol system. It first explains how to achieve the operation of the environmental control system,and then use the related theory of reliability analysis to analyze the operation reliability of theenvironment control system, and draw the conclusion. Finally, it takes the troubleshooting of theA320flow control valve (FCV) abnormal closed as an example to explain the troubleshootingprocess and related methods of the environmental control system.In fifth chapter, the paper discusses mainly the air quality monitoring of the environmentalcontrol system. First, it measures the air parameters of the aircraft, then summarizes andconcludes the data. According to air quality standards for air quality assessment, it draws theconclusion.Finally, the paper discusses the significance of the development of modern civil aircraft andthe trends of the modern civil aircraft environmental control system.
