Civil aircraft flight test is the last and also the most important step before a newcivil aircraft model officially starting commercial operation. With the intensecompetition of civil aircraft market, improving flight test efficiency, reducing thecycle of flight test, cutting down the cost of flight test have become the common goalthat every civil aircraft manufacturer wants to achieve. Using digital technology toassist our country’s civil aircraft industry is one of the guiding principles that clearlypointed in our country’s2013-2020civil aviation mid-long term plans. In response tothis call, to realize the rapid development of our country’s civil aircraft industry, thisarticle describes the research of the development of a digitalized management systemfor civil aircraft flight test tasks.Firstly, this article thoroughly analyzes the process of the task management ofcivil aircraft flight test in the view of digital technology. Secondly, this articleanalyzes the current situations and the problems involved in the implement process ofour country’s civil aircraft flight test. And then makes clear that flight test requirementmanagement and aircraft model management and flight test task management andflight test planning management should be the parts of civil aircraft flight test taskmanagement system. Moreover, in order to provide better service to flight test project,the system should support internet/intranet access and permission management andconcurrency management and operation history management.In order to meet the system functional requirement and non-functionalrequirement, this article raises a system architecture based on Flex. In thisarchitecture, Flex will be used to realize the front end and JBoss application server will act as the back end. Blaze DS, which is developed by Adobe for Flex, will beused to realize the remote call and data transmission between Flex and JBoss.The structural management of flight test task data will be the main function ofcivil aircraft flight test task management system. This article uses logical data modelto describe the data object in flight test task management system and the relationshipbetween them. And a method of data tracking has been raised to protect the data inthe system.This article also discusses a network architecture based on VPN and a design ofconcurrency management based on optimistic locking. And this article extendsRole-Based Access Control Model in order to meet the special requirement of userpermission control in this system. It will realize the function of enabling a user to actas different roles in different flight test projects.This research is the first time in China about digitalized management for civilaircraft flight test task. According to this research, a prototype of this digitizingmanagement system has been developed. Some flight test engineers were invited totest this prototype using real flight test task data. According to the comments of thoseflight test engineers, the design of this system can help to improve the efficiency offlight test and reduce the test period. It can be predicted that this system will help torealize the rapid development of our country’s civil aircraft industry.In the end of the article, it describes the development vision of digital technologyin civil aircraft flight test field from the views of artificial intelligence technology andusing digital technology to cover all parts of test flight.
