Wireless Mobile Mesh Network (WMMN) is a self-organizing, self-configuring andself-maintenance wireless mesh network, which doesn’t need the support of fixedinfrastructure. This network brings many advantages, such as low up-front cost, easy networkmaintenance, reliable service coverage and robustness. It can work on the complex mobilecondition and implement wireless coverage. WMMN can be used in home networks,enterprise networks, community networks, high-speed metropolitan area nerworks, as well asemergency communications and military communications systems. It can achieve fastnetwork layout, accurate and efficient communication in moving condition, so it has boradapplication prospects.Our study is based on OLSR protocol, added adaptive working mode, hazy sightedalgorithm and cross-layer technology. In this paper, we propose an improved algorithm, whichis called Adaptive Fuzzy Sighted Link State using Cross Layer (AFSLS_CL). By detectingthe changing frequency of the link near the node, the node chooses a topology distribute mode.According to the link changing situation, the hazy sight technology can adjust the topologymessage sending frequency and the range of transmission. The cross-layer technology canmake the various protocol layers interact, immedietaly adjust and integrate informationfrom all layers, get the optiaml routing, to achieve the greatest routing performance andcontent the QoS of requirements. These technologies improve the routing performancegreatly.We build a simulation platform for AFSLS_CL by using the simulative software NS2.The results show that the performance of algorithm has low delay, low bandwidth occupiedand quickly response to network topology changes. Finally, according to the network structureof WMMN and the conditions of our laboratory, we desigen a experiental platform for therouting algorithm.
