Based on the analysis of research background and research situation in buildingsafety monitoring, this paper first have an in-depth study on building safetymonitoring system. Choosing steel model as the study and monitoring object, thenfocus on the application of acoustic signals in steel safety monitoring technology.This paper proposed a method of steel safety monitoring that based on dynamicinfrasound detection technology to build a steel structure deformation monitoringsystem. And it named Building Safety Dynamic Infrasound Network System. Thissystem adopted non-destructive sensing technology and used acoustic vector sensoras the main equipment to achieve the signal acquisition. Designed the overallstructure of the steel model monitoring and determined the location of monitoringpoints to complete the general system design. The system includes three parts:construction steel model, data collection and transmission subsystem and monitoringsubsystem. According to the general design, detail designed the hardware andsoftware of the main module of the system to achieve the acquisition andtransmission of monitoring signal. Then depicted the data waveform throughman-machine interface and complete the overall system functional requirements.And the system can finally accomplish the real-time online monitoring of steeldeformation. Finally, set up a platform of the Building Safety Dynamic InfrasoundNetwork System and did the feasibility test to verify the feasibility of the system.After lots of long time experiments,preliminary estimates of the monitoring datashow that: for the changes of tensile and compressive stress, transverse wave sensoris about4-6%of the power source, while longitudinal wave sensor is about11-13%.The study of building safety monitoring has broad prospects. And the acousticsignal used in the steel safety monitoring technology is of great significance.Building safety dynamic infrasound network system provides the research of steeldeformation and failure prediction analysis with a basic platform and foundation. Ithas practical importance and value in promotion.
