The digital audio player is generally based on the DSP/MCU processor, which architecture is relatively complicated, and hard to upgrade or expand.) To solve this problem, a digital broadcast platform solution based on S3C6410chip is designed and implemented in this paper.This solution combine with the hardware and software.The hardware cricuit is constructed of the Embedded processor core (samsung’s ARM11S3C6410),1GB NAND FLASH memory and128MB of DDR memory, and the expansion circuit include USB, serial, network interface, audio circuits, touch screen LCD and so on. The Linux2.6.28is choosed as the embedded software, and the Mplayer is applied as application program according to the function of digital audio players. After configured, compiled, it can solve some transplant problems of the Linux operating system. Finally, the digital broadcast platform which based on ARM embedded processor is implemented after completing the above steps.Hardware test results show that the platform can realize the function of digital broadcasting. It has some advantages such as easy to upgrade and expand contrasting to the current digital audio players.It is a good example to the digital broadcasting designing in future.
