Logic control system is one kind of multi-task, strong randomicity, complicated control logic system, its typicality makes it to be an important object of teaching and scientific research. In research of logic control system, a research platform represented the actual logic control system is need to reflect the features of control system. However,building an actual experimental platform of logic control system must put in more money and manpower, so selection of appopriate development tools to build the simulation platform of logic control system, reducing the investment, is a significant research topic.A typical system of logic control system--the elevator is selected as the research object to do research on establishing the system model and building the simulation platform of logic control system. Besides, in order to simplify the modeling process, the regulation control of speed is ignored in the process of developing the elevator model.At the beginning of this paper, a simulation platform of elevator logic control system is constructed based on forcecontrol configuration software, Beckhoff TwinCat PLC, and ADS (Automation Device Specification) technology. The results show that the simulation platform built finally achieves friendly human-machine interaction and nice visual effect,and it is able to use conveniently and implement easy.Aiming at these complex logic control features of the elevator, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow plays as a tool to design the elevator model based on the Finite State Machine theory (Finite State Machine, FSM)in this paper.The model of second-layer and three-layer elevator system are finished respectively, Beckhoff TwinCat PLC plays as a controller to implement all control programs of the elevator with ladder diagram, Matlab/Simulink object model and TwinCat PLC connect through OPC (OLE for Process Control) communication protocol as data transfer too.Finally,a simulation platform of logic Control system is designed successfully. The simulation results show that the design not only has reached the purpose of reflecting the complex dynamic logic relationship of the object in a graphical interface clearly, concisly and intuitively,but also verified it feasible and effective to implement the model of logic system with this method, andhelpful to the further research of logical system.In the designed procession of control program, adoping Soft PLC to control Virtual object can make full use of the software and hardware resources of PC, and overcome the defects of high cost, limited experimental time caused by traditional hardware PLC. A new idea is proposed for traditional logic control system experimental platform reformed to logic control system simulation platform. Implementing the simulation platform of logic control system by adoping two kinds of methods can give full play to their advantages, and help customers to choose the most appropriate simulation platform of logic control system after comparing with the both effects.
