With the development and progress of society, the demand for energy isalso increasing. Thus the environmental problems caused by energyconsumption become more and more serious. Now mankind can not just rely ontraditional energy sources to maintain the growing needs of energy. Solar has agreat advantage among the new energy. Solar energy resources in China arevery rich for its vast territory. So the research and development of solar energyhave very far-reaching significance for environmental protection and sustainabledevelopment. Based on previous research, the sun automatic tracking systemstudied in this paper improves the efficiency of the use of solar energy further.The overall system design, hardware design and software design aredescribed in detail. The system uses the core of SCM as the entire controlsystem, and adopts the tracking method combined with Photo electric trackingand sun angle tracking. These two tracking methods complement each other,which makes the system more stable and improves the tracking accuracy of thesystem.In the study of this subject, main work has been done as follows:1. The tracking methods of the current domestic and international solartracking system are analyzed in detail. Based on a detailed comparison, themicrocontroller STC89C52is selected as the core controller of the system,Panasonic AC servo system as the actuator. The tracking method combined withPhoto electric tracking and sun angle tracking is adopted. In this way, thetracking system has a higher stability and tracking accuracy.2. The photoelectric detection circuit is designed to detect the weather issunny or cloudy quickly and efficiently.3. The communication and control circuits of DSP and microcontroller aredesigned. The data processed by DSP can be quickly transmitted to themicrocontroller. Control signals generated by the microcontroller can betransmitted to the AC servo motor drive. 4. Clock circuit and display circuit are designed, using real-time clock chipDS1302and seven-segment digital tube as the clock circuit and display circuit.The system times accurately, and its circuit is simple. It ensures the accuracy ofsun angle tracking.5. Keil4is adopted as the compiler development environment and C51language program is written for the entire system. The circuit is debugged byhardware and software.
