With the rapid development of the world economy, the energy crisis has become aninternational society are facing one of the important problems. Solar energy as a kind ofrenewable clean energy, has the very big development and utilization value. In the recent tenyears, our country in the solar energy utilization has made great progress, but still not enoughadvanced technique of solar energy utilization; In order to further broaden the scope of the use ofsolar energy, improve the utilization rate of solar energy, this paper puts forward a kind of solarservo device tracking method. The tracking method to overcome the photoelectric trackingvulnerable to weather shortcomings, tracking system structure is simple, tracking range, trackingaccuracy is high, there is a lot of value in use.On the analysis of the relationship between the sun and the earth’s position, determine thehorizontal coordinate system of the sun position, for tracking device can accurately track thetrajectory of the sun provides a theoretical basis. Through the comparison of commonly usedphotoelectric sensor, choose the silicon photocell to design optical signal detection device.Tracking mode using photoelectric tracking and clock type tracking with each other way, sunnyday using photoelectric tracking, cloudy day use clock type tracking, and can automaticallyswitch tracking mode.In thesis, sun follower system mainly comprises a sensor, a controller and an actuatingmember. The sensor consists of a four-quadrant silicon photocell and other four pieces ofphotovoltaic cells, are respectively used for the solar accurate positioning and coarse positioning,and design the photoelectric detection circuit; a controller to the singlechip as a core, and thedesign of the single-chip interface circuit, which comprises a clock circuit, a power supplycircuit, an executive component selection step motor, a motor drive circuit. the software designincludes a system program design, a photoelectric tracking module design and clock trackingmodule design, and accomplishes the stepping motor control simulation and analysis.
