With the development of the distribution power communication network intelligent and the continuous deepening of the enterprise information work, The distribution power communication network to assume a variety of old and new business and the application of network transmission task become more and more, Causing the traffic in the network increases quickly and hard to manage, Thus affecting the distribution power communication network and reliable application and efficient transmission of a variety of business in the network。 Reliable and efficient operation of distribution power communication network is the important guarantee for the normal operation of the power system, for the production control、administrative management and office automation of power systems to provide the necessary guarantees. Therefore, reliable and efficient operation in the whole distribution power communication network, how to management control effectively in business data traffics of network is especially important, as how to implement flow control technology in the network。The flow control technology can automatic optimization and regulation resources in the network to achieve performance requirements of specific transmission service in network, with macro regulation and macro control etc. Therefore, implementing traffic control technology in the distribution power communication network can well solve what the various new and old business and network application continuously increase as a result of traffics in the network has increased dramatically due to management problems. The traffic control technology based on PTN is based on T-MPLS/MPLS-TP technology, it is compared with other traffic control technology has great advantages in its implementation and function. This paper makes full use of networking advantage of PTN technology in the backbone network, build the distribution power communication experiment network and traffic control technology mathematics model and implementation plan on the PTN, and to research and analysis the key control routing algorithm. Finally, make full use of the network simulation software OPNET to build the simulation network structure and the business model of distribution power communication experiment network based on PTN, traffic control technology based on IP and flow control technology based on PTN are conducted compare analysis by simulation. The main research work of this thesis is to:(1) To study in detail of the principles and system structure of PTN technology, and network application. In network applications of the PTN technology, focusing on PTN technology is used in access layer、aggregation layer and core layer of the structure of the network in the metropolitan area network.(2) In studying traffics control technologies based on the IP、ATM and MPLS, the traffic control technology based on PTN and its mathematical model are proposed, and detailed study the implementation scheme and key control routing algorithm of traffic control technology based on PTN.(3) Study the architecture of distribution power communication network system, including business needs analysis、solution schemes、the access layer communication network and communication network integrated network management system. Put forward using PTN technology to set up backbone communication network of the distribution power communication network, and according to the actual circumstance adopts a hierarchical network design, which is the most typical three layer model design idea、to build the distribution power communication experiment network based on PTN, and analyse main business and characteristics of the distribution power communication experiment network based on PTN.The thesis uses the OPNET network simulation software, through traffic control technology based on IP and flow control technology based on PTN are conducted compare analysis by simulation. This results show that:the traffic control technology based on PTN can not only improve network resource utilization rate、businesses transmission reliability and transmission quality of service of the distribution power communication network, but also manage and control traffics in the network and realize the load balance and so on is very efficient and show more advantages compare to traffic control technology based on IP.
