RFID Technology In The Bus Priority System Study On The Application

With the development of economy and urbanization intensifies, transportationdemand rapid growth. Transportation has become a modern city. It is playing themore and more major role to guarantee the basic elements of social economic systemand the normal operation of daily life.This paper first introduces radio frequency identification (RFID) technology inthe intelligent public transport system the important effect and application, andanalyses the RFID system composition, characteristics and application, this paperintroduces the current road public transportation management problems of RFIDtechnology is introduced, especially in intelligent transportation system of automaticacquisition traffic information important effect and application.Secondly, this paper references RFID technology in transportation field ofsuccessful experience, on the analysis of the basic structure of the RFID devicesbased on RFID technology in bus priority of the application system of technicalfeasibility and economical feasibility analysis, also on the RFID technologyoperation principle and information collection process for a more in-depth research,and combining with the video collection and vehicle identification technology,give city public traffic signals in the bus priority information collection, andperforms to optimize design.Furthermore, based on the RFID data acquisition equipment characteristics,establishment of real-time database, and to analyze the data application. Introducedthe structure of the system database, the realization of system functions and softwaredevelopment design of key parts. Finally, this paper describes the use of RFIDtechnology to control traffic lights to achieve public transport priority method,through building of simulation platform for testing vehicle acquisition process andbasic parameter, obtains the RFID technology application on the bus ITS promotioneffect is obvious.
