The fuel cell as a device for generating energy, it is now more and more attention, the membrane electrode is the core of the fuel cell, so production of membrane electrode is particularly important. In the membrane electrode production process, the GDL basal layer of the film in the hydrophobic process prone to uneven distribution of film thickness, temperature control during the heat treatment will be the product performance and quality has a direct impact, Therefore, the carbon paper substrate impregnated in the production of the fuel cell membrane electrode (MEA), heat treatment and surface porous layer coating process method, even control key technologies worthy of an important study.According to the "fuel cell membrane electrode (MEA) special equipment research development and demonstration" projects and the existing hydrophobic treatment of the basal layer of technology, development and design of a set of PTFE (Poly tetra floury ethylene) emulsion dipping, heat treatment in one of the continuous scanty water treatment equipment. The whole control system is divided into hydrophobic station, air-dry station, drying and unloading station. Among them, for the drying of the material is the focus of this study.The temperature control system has the characteristics of time delay, lag, nonlinear, carbon paper materials hydrophobic device control process temperature there is a strong stability, there are strict requirements on the control accuracy. For the temperature control system, the traditional control methods in use may be limited, and intelligent control will be effective control methods.This paper presents a combination of fuzzy control and PID control method, the method according to the temperature difference between the size and temperature changes of the oven, the use of fuzzy control inference method, real-time adjustment of the PID parameters. In addition, the optimized PID control method to make complex changes to adapt to the scene object. The method has better control effect with the conventional PID and adaptable.Combination of the above control method and oven features, in accordance with the process requirements, this paper designs a temperature control system of the material of the carbon paper hydrophobic equipment, the OMRON CJ series PLC as a controller, real-time monitoring with touch screen, complete the set of relevant parameters, data storage and data display system alarm and other functions. Select the number of thermal resistance to detect the temperature signal of the oven, solid state relay (SSR) to regulate the electric heater and cooling fan to meet the temperature requirements.Practical application and simulation can be shown that the combination of fuzzy control and PID control algorithm can better complete control requirements, indicating the feasibility of the algorithm, the control is better than conventional PID control algorithm.
