Since the computer network was born, the problem of data storage andtransmission security has corresponding appeared. And in the information explosiontoday, computer network also get the rapid development, information data storagecapacity increased sharply, illegal elements attack computer network because ofpersonal interests, make the network security has become a great challenge, theproblem also appears more prominent, and allow the network security has become ansocial problems of unavoidable and need pay attention.Because of the server’s important position in the whole computer network, so it’ssafety has become the core of the computer network’s safety. The client hope to datatransmission uploads and downloads with FTP server, first the client must to initiate aconnection request to server port, FTP server accepted client request, to complete theprocess of establishing connections. Because FTP is the application layer protocolande based on TCP/IP, and the TCP protocol itself has some defects, mainperformance in that if a single using TCP protocol transmission information,information in the whole link is expressly transmission, sending and receiving bothsides identity can’t effective guarantee. So if you want to ensure the informationtransmission safety, we must be perfect the TCP/IP protocol.SSL protocol can proctect the information transmission from port to port forTCP/IP protocol and above protocol, and can protect the confidentiality, integrity andthe identity authentication between the both sides of communication. So which canmake up for some safety defects about the TCP protocol.This paper based on thisconsideration and the practice of personal learning, by the understanding of computer network of network security technology and combining modern design and safety filetransmission system, thus research and design the document security transmissionsystem.I have do some study about the modern encryption in the whole paper, and haveanalyzed the SSL security protocol especially, through the analysis of its research alsopoints out some problems of SSL protocol. According to actual demand of this system,do some design for the security module of SSL protocol, but also do a certainimprovement and design for some security module, because of the intrinsic defects ofSLL protocol itself. At last, make all of the security module became a group, and addit a pure software server/client simulation system which is designed by myself withcomputer language, in order to verify that the SSL protocol can guarantee the filescan be transmission safely between server and client.This system designed for servers and clients though analog communicationssystem, but to make their function and use close to practical application system,through the multithreaded programming principle realized based on TCP concurrentserver program design. And more important is to improve the safety and efficiency ofthe whole system performance, so have made improvements and again design to theoriginal SSL protocol, finally through the improved SSL protocol made the files canbe transmited safely between server and client. And through this paper’s research andfinal realization of the system of the result, basic achieve the expected file safetytransmission function. Not only make me more deep understanding to the principle ofdata encryption and server/client work mechanism, more important is that based onpractical application arised some more applicable method, strengthen the serversecurity mechanism, and to promote the whole server/client information security ofthe transmission system of ability.
