Study On Optimizing Transformation Programs Of Alxa League Unicom Ip Metropolitan Area Network

With the growing popularity of broadband access, broadband market has become a major focus of competition in the telecommunications operator. Basing on providing users with more high-quality, low-cost broadband access, the diversification of value-added services with both that has become an important approach that the big telecom operators seeking to enhance. In order to substantially increase the proportion of high-access bandwidth users, either from the user development and revenue growth in perspective, or from the broadband speed and quality, the operators have an urgent need to implement the broadband upgrade to support the next step of marketing and business development.Broadband-access business has become one of the key pillars of China Unicom in2009, whose income takes up a quarter of overall income of Inner Mongolia Branch. In order to implement China Unicorn’s strategy of broadband development and realize the goal of broadband speed-up, in early of2009, Inner Mongolia Branch decided to immediately carry out the task of broadband speed-up so as to respond intense competition of broadband-access, ensure its rural proportion and urban sustainable development. According to the development and the current network situation of Alxa League Branch, the urgent affair is to optimize the broadband network, broadband-access network and transmission network and to address the problem of insufficient capacity of network coverage, quality。The paper was to optimize China Unicom IP MAN transforming programs on the actual situation of Alxa League. There are total five chapters. The first chapter described the background of transformation on IP MAN optimized with significance and necessity, followed by the introduction of the concept of IP MAN, the network structure, and finally broadband access technologies; in the second chapter, detailed analysis of the Arab League Unicom IP MAN, the user access network status and problems was conducted; the chapter three presented the idea of the A-League Unicom optimizing transformation on IP MAN and EPON maintence; the chapter four detailed the A-League Unicom IP MAN, the optimization of user access network transformation program, and brief introduction of network management system and Metropolitan area network deployment of QoS introduction; the chapter five is the concluding part of this text and future prospects.
