Study Of Hybird Positioning Platform Based On Cdma Networks

With the development of communication technology, the positioning function gradually becomes a standard configuration for mobile terminal. The positioning service is becoming the second largest mobile service apart from voice service. As a standard capacity, the positioning capability can provide rich and colorful positional services to customers when it combines with vairous applications. In this market environment, the operators generally select to construct their own positioning platform and open the platform interface. At the same time, using of the influence on the industry chain and the customization ability on the mobile terminal, the carriers implement the standard application interface with position capability in the mobile terminal for the partners so as to develop the corresponding applications.In this thesis the principle of GPS positioning and the positioning technologies based on control plane and WiFi are introduced. The gpsOne hybrid positioning technology and the ability opening of the hybrid positioning platform based on CDMA networks are focused. A hybrid positioning scheme based on the signal environment automatic configuration is developed. According to the status of positioning service, the positioning service development dilemma of the operators is analyzed. The development plan of "building platform, opening capacity" is proposed, and the method of opening the hybird positioning platform is studied.
