Research On TD-Lte Network Planning And Design

LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a new generation mobile communication standard in international mainstream after the third generation, TD-LTE is a time division duplex (TDD, Time Division Duplex) mode in the LTE system, which could be the TD-SCDMA follow-up evolution technology and standard. TD-LTE will become the development trend of the network in the future.In this thesis the current situation of the development of China Mobile, on the TD-LTE network planning is discussed. The thesis mainly includes the following aspects:the key technology of TD-LTE and planning features, TD-LTE construction and configuration principle, TD-LTE wireless network design process, as well as coverage planning and capacity planning principles.This thesis first introduces the key technology of TD-LTE, OFDM and multiple antenna technology, and analyzes several characteristics of TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA planning comparison. Secondly, according to the TD-LTE characteristics, analyzed the network construction as well as target configuration principle. Then, the overall planning and design process of TD-LTE is given. Finally, from the aspects of coverage and capacity, the thesis gives the recommendations of the network construction to provide reference for future network construction at the beginning of initial planning.
