With the file open use of the concept of increasing the people’s level of knowledge increased, more and more demand for file use; the file to use the service targets and objectives change too. From the outset the purpose of the use of services provided for the minority of those in power, the government, the nobility, gradually transformed into a file open and service to the community.File on a sense of service is the gradual rise of the file after opening in1789after the French Revolution. The mainland and Taiwan to use the time and intensity of consciousness development is late international step; that sound service utilization system, the professional quality of the degree of public files and archives awareness, compared to other aspects of archival science developed is relatively weak. File open, file services use has become one of the trends of future development. Therefore, further knowledge of the community to promote cognitive file; sound file services use, is the major Archives of now and in the future, actively promote the goals.This article’s point of view of China and Taiwan Archives service utilization and the actual level of cut, and then make a comparative study to the actual. First, aspects of the content, methods, search tools, staff satisfaction by the service of the Taiwan Area and Mainland Area for the research topic on its current status; China and Taiwan archive services, use of all aspects of research., lists the advantages and disadvantages, similarities and differences and existing problems; Finally, cut by the use of those who view the inconvenience questioned, as well as the practical problems related to measures to make the file using the service this emerging topic, successfully carried out and the next level.
